Give the skill page or manifest to a compatible AI agent. Ask it to inspect the listed files and checksums before writing anything. The agent should ask for permission before installing the skill in its local skills directory.
No scripts run during installation. Read the files first. Keep the version number when you make your own changes so you can tell your copy from the public one.
